Flexible, Efficient and Easy Data Capture

SynCapture is Synteract’s exclusive hybrid electronic data capture (EDC) system. The application allows for a clinical study to be performed using multiple modes of entry simultaneously: paper, fax, and Web. For a single study, a mode of entry can be assigned to each site within the study, depending on the qualifications of the site. This inherent flexibility allows for better handling of site logistics when setting up a study. SynCapture is very simple for sites and monitors to use with minimal training, leading to faster implementation and few technical support calls.

Combines Paper and Electronic Data

SynCapture integrates Web-based entry of electronic CRFs (eCRFs) with faxed and paper CRF collections into a single study database. SynCapture accommodates multiple preferences –some sites can enter data online, while others can fax or mail in data. One mode can back up another in certain cases; for example, sites can fax in CRFs if their Internet connection is down. All data resides in the same database and undergoes the same edit checks. Plus, the system has built-in, state-of-the art tracking and reporting features that provide customized information on patient and data status.

Reduces Time to Results

SynCapture adds efficiencies to data entry, study monitoring, tracking, reporting, and data reconciliation. Data can be entered within hours of a patient visit, making the time to database closure after completion of the study greatly reduced – to within days of the last patient visit as compared to taking weeks with paper. Faster closure means faster analysis and faster to market!
