SynCoder is a SAS application developed at Synteract that provides a complete computing environment for managing the coding and reporting
of both adverse events and concomitant medications. SynCoder includes both AutoCoder, which does batch coding of terms that have a
simple match in a selected terminology, and OnLineCoder, an interactive module for assigning codes to more complex terms. SynCoder
implements the new MedDRA terminology and other legacy terminologies such as COSTART for coding adverse events, and utilizes
WHODrug for coding concomitant medications.
