Fall Conferences
29 September 2016

While many of you may be soaking up the last few moments of summer and preparing for the football tailgating season, we have filled our Fall calendar with a number of presentations and speaking engagements that continue to demonstrate Synteract’s thought leadership in the drug and device development industry. We recently wrapped up presenting at two conferences –  the FierceBiotech Drug Development Forum and the Disruptive Innovation US conference, better known as DPharm.

At the FierceBiotech Drug Development forum, Vice President, Strategic Development Etienne Drouet presented on a panel titled, “Partnership in Immuno-Oncology,” where he discussed the growing trend in immuno-oncology research and how the market surrounding these drugs will evolve in coming years.

In her “Innovation in Problem Solving” segment at DPharm, Project Director Cheryl Johnson presented problems within clinical research and offered Synteract’s process for providing a solution, with the goal of inspiring collaboration among different participants in clinical research.

We will continue conference season by attending the DIA/EFGCP/EMA Better Medicines for Children Annual Conference in London, on October 10-11, where Dr. Martine Dehlinger-Kremer will chair the opening session on “Lessons Learned from 10 Years of Paediatric Regulation”.  Martine will also participate on a panel titled “Initiation and Conduct of Pediatric Clinical Trials: Overcoming Challenges,” and will present at her break-out session titled, “The Work of the EFGVP Children Medicines Working Party and update on Ethical Considerations.”

Synteract will then be heading to Prague for the European Conference on Clinical Research, October 17-18, where Dr. Dehlinger-Kremer continues providing her expertise in the area of pediatric clinical trials by moderating a session titled, “Clinical Trials in the Paediatric Population” and presenting at the “Feasibility and Challenges with Paediatric Clinical Trials” session.
