January is Cervical Health Awareness Month

January is Cervical Health Awareness Month
29 January 2018

While vaccinations and screening are helping to prevent cervical cancer, it is still the second most common type of cancer for women worldwide. Nearly 13,000 women in the United States are diagnosed with it each year. The United States Congress designated January as Cervical Health Awareness Month to increase awareness as a result. Join us, at Synteract, in helping to increase awareness about routine preventive measures to avoid cervical cancer so that not one person has to die from this preventable disease.

At Synteract we are proud to draw on extensive experience in women’s health, including in cervical cancer. We have managed about 50 clinical trials—ranging in stage from Phase I – IV—in women’s oncology overall, with seven in cervical, 14 in ovarian, and 27 in breast cancer therapy in the U.S., Canada, France, Germany, Poland, The United Kingdom, Russia, Israel and more.

Join us in getting the word out when it comes to awareness and solutions during #CervicalHealthMonth and beyond, for this and other women’s cancers.
