Synteract’s Senior Leadership to Participate in International and Domestic Clinical Trials Conferences

SAN DIEGO – Jan. 27, 2015 – Synteract, a full-service, international contract research organization (CRO), will participate in two biopharmaceutical and life science conferences in early February: the European CRO Federation’s 2nd European Conference on Clinical Research in Paris, and the 7th Annual Outsourcing in Clinical Trials West Coast Conference in San Francisco. Members of Synteract’s senior leadership team will chair and present at the conferences that serve as a forum for in-depth discussion about current issues within clinical trial agreements, service-provider management and regulatory environments.

Global Vice President, Medical and Regulatory Affairs, Dr. Martine Dehlinger-Kremer, is attending EUCROF’s conference and chairing a session titled, “Medical Devices, Paediatrics, Rare Diseases, Many Challenges on the Clinical Research Pathway,” on Feb. 4 at 9:00 a.m. Dehlinger-Kremer is a member of EUCROF’s program committee and has been chair of the Pediatric Working Group of EUCROF since 2008. She is also a member of the European Network of Pediatric Research of the European Medicines Agency Working Groups, and presented last November on pediatric research at the Pharmig/OKIDS Conference in Vienna. With nearly 30 years of experience in the research industry, she also presented at DIA 2014 on the topic of “The New EU Clinical Trials Regulation.”

On Feb. 4 from 10:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., Global Vice President, Biometrics, Philip E. Doren, Ph.D., will deliver the presentation, “Risk-based Monitoring: What It Needs to Be” at OCT West Coast. As a 25-year veteran of the CRO industry, Doren is a thought leader on the topic of RBM and most recently presented on it at DIA 2014. He will be educating attendees on an approach that can identify areas of risk as well as save time and cost as it contributes to the efficient conduct of clinical trials.
